Debra L. Dandar has been practicing law since 1997, and is the Founder and President of Tampa Bay Elder Law Center in South Tampa, where her elder law firm focuses on estate planning, with an emphasis on asset preservation and probate avoidance, and planning ahead for the potential of long term care expenses. Working with her son, Tim Dandar, her firm also handles probate and trust administration matters, as well as estate planning for clients of all ages. Their practice prepares Wills, Trusts, Durable Power of Attorney, Health Care Surrogate Designations, Living Wills, and Deeds (including Lady Bird deeds).
Debra received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Summa Cum Laude, from University of South Florida, and both her law degree (Juris Doctor) Cum Laude, and her LL.M. (Masters of Law) from Stetson University College of Law.
Debra is a Member of National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; Association of Florida Elder Law Attorneys; Florida Bar Elder Law Section; and Florida Bar Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section. Debra is a Leadership Tampa Bay alumni, and has also served as past Co-Chair of Hillsborough County Elder Law Section and past President of Thomas E. Penick Inn of Court, and has served as a member of several committees of the Florida Bar.
Debra is married to her husband, Tom, and together they are the parents of five adult children, and grandparents to two grandsons. Debra and Tom are also scuba divers, and their favorite activities involve anything on or in the water.
Timothy M. Dandar, Attorney
Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration, and Elder Law Attorney
Timothy M. Dandar has been practicing law since 2010, and focuses on helping clients to craft and implement estate plans that parallel the desires of the client. Guided by the principle, “Seek first to understand, then to be understood,” Tim understands that no two families are the same, and that effective legal guidance begins with truly listening.
In addition to estate planning, Tim assists families navigating the complexities of long-term care, including Medicaid planning to help cover home health care, nursing home, and assisted living expenses. He also represents clients in trust and probate estate administration, ensuring that the wishes of the deceased are honored and legal obligations are met with care and precision.
Tim received a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, from University of South Florida in 2004, and his law degree (Juris Doctor) from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2009. Tim was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2010 and is a Member of National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; Association of Florida Elder Law Attorneys; Florida Bar Elder Law Section; and Florida Bar Real Property Probate and Trust Law Section.
Outside of the office, Tim enjoys spending meaningful time with his family and finds solace in nature.

With over 30 years of experience in estate planning and probate administration, Amy Morris brings a deep sense of empathy and expertise to each case. Throughout her career, Amy has guided families through some of life’s most difficult transitions, offering not only professional support but also a compassionate hand to ease the burden during challenging times.
In addition, in her role as Office Manager, she oversees daily operations, case management and ensures that all internal processes run smoothly. Amy is always available for clients to address any questions or concerns.
When not working, Amy enjoys spending time with family at the beach, boating, and fishing; activities that offer a perfect escape and a chance to recharge.
Tricia Littlefield, Paralegal
Medicaid and Estate Planning Paralegal
With over a decade of experience in the legal field, Tricia has built a strong foundation in estate planning. Since joining the Tampa Bay Elder Law Center in August 2020, she has been dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of Medicaid and elder law with compassion and precision.
Tricia’s background includes a Bachelors in English from Wofford College and a post-baccalaureate certificate from St. Petersburg College. Her attention to detail, along with her ability to approach sensitive matters with care and understanding, has made her a valued member of the Tampa Bay Elder Law Center team.
Originally from Clearwater, Tricia enjoys photography and exploring new places. Her love for capturing life’s moments and her curiosity for new experiences mirror the thoughtful, meticulous approach she brings to her work in law.
